License terms: PLR, MRR, commercial use, and personal use

The exact license supplied with each product controls what you may do with it. This is a practical overview, not a replacement for the product-specific license and not legal advice.

Why the license matters

A digital file, an editable template, and the right to resell that file are separate things. Before purchasing or publishing, check what may be edited, branded, bundled, sold, shared, or transferred.

PLR: Private Label Rights

PLR may allow you to customize and brand a product, then use or resell it within stated limits. Permissions vary. Some PLR products require meaningful customization or restrict how source files, editable links, or license rights may be passed to another buyer.

MRR: Master Resell Rights

MRR generally allows you to resell the supplied product under the stated terms. It does not automatically mean you may edit every element, claim authorship, give the files away, transfer the same rights, or use the product without restrictions.

Commercial use

Commercial use usually permits an asset to support a business, client project, or finished end product. It does not automatically grant permission to resell the original source files or transfer the asset as a competing product.

Personal use

Personal-use products are intended for your own use. They normally do not include resale, redistribution, or client-use rights unless the supplied terms say otherwise.

Before you buy or resell

1. Confirm the exact product name and license.
2. Check what may be edited and what must remain unchanged.
3. Check whether the finished product, editable source, or license rights may be resold.
4. Review restrictions on giveaways, bundles, marketplaces, trademarks, and claims.
5. Keep a copy of the license supplied with your purchase.

Important boundaries

• A license does not guarantee traffic, sales, income, or platform approval.
• Do not imply a platform endorses your finished offer unless an affiliation is explicitly stated.
• Do not make legal, financial, health, or performance claims that you cannot support.
• Local law, platform rules, and consumer obligations still apply.
